Five months after he left the administration, Timothy Geithner is finally free to leave Washington for real -- having just sold his Bethesda home. The former Treasury secretary and his wife Carole put the four-bedroom rambler on the market in March; it went under contract within days for their $995K asking price (just a little more than what they bought it for), but the Geithners put off the closing until they were ready to vacate the place in July.
